Process fluids enter the BV tank either
by gravity or by an external pump. A
vacuum pump draws the fluid through
perforations located on the filter tank
floor. The filter paper is held tight to
the perforated floor and collects the
particulate. When blinded, a high
vacuum is sensed and a drag
conveyor elevates the paper and
particulate to the discharge opening
where it is discarded. Standard 51"
filter paper is used.
