Process fluids enter the TRVD tank
either by gravity or by an external
pump. A vacuum pump draws the fluid
through the filter belt which is arranged
as a loop. The loop is suspended in
the tank over a drag chain. When
cycling, the filter belt and the drag are
both advanced. If filter paper is the
desired medium, the filter belt is
exchanged for a "carrier" belt and the
filter paper then overlays it.
