Permanent Media Filters
This series utilizes a filter belt arranged as a loop.  Contaminated fluids are passed through
the belt where particulate is trapped within.  The belt is advanced periodically and the
particulate is cleaned by a powerful spray.  

This series incudes these models:
  • FMA - The closest relative to the original HR Black filter.  It is a
    vertical design and drops into your pump tank.  Compressed air
    cleans the belt.
  • PDE - A horizontal model that mounts beside your pump tank. It has
    greater capacity than the FMA. Compressed air cleans the belt.
  • MD - A low profile drum style filter for liquid levels below 12"
  • PMD - The permanent media filter for low micron use.  There is no
    air blow-off.
Disposable Media Filters
These models are designed to convey industry standard filter paper.  The paper is
discarded after use.
  • BV - The standard "Black Vac" drag filter.  Filter paper is conveyed
    across the perforated floor of a tank.  
  • TV -The "Tiny Vac" is the smaller version of a Black Vac
  • PETV - A "pre-engineered" version of the Tiny Vac designed as a
    lower cost alternative to an engineered filter system.
Convertible Media Filters
An HR Black original.  These machines can be operated as either permanent or disposable
mode filters.
  • TRVH - The "Trac-Vac" series is THE standard automotive grade
    parts washer filter.  The TRVH will fit inside a parts washer tank.
  • TRVD - This machine has a full width drag underneath the filter belt.  
    It will mount adjacent to your washer. This machine is the most
    versatile filter machine produced by HR Black.  
Magnetic Separators
Our magnetic separator is a unique multipass design that can produce outstanding results
with micron sized ferrous particulate.  Swarf dischrage is virtually dry by nature.  
  • MPM - The patent pending vertical bar separator.
